Pasty release waxes

Moulds are used to make products or objects based on a polyester, epoxy or polyurethane resin. A resin typically sticks to the mould. To ensure that the product can be properly removed from the mould, a release agent is applied to the mould surface. A pasty release agent wax is used as a filling release agent for difficult and porous substrates. Due to its 'greasy' nature, a pasty release agent wax is also often used as a cutting wax on flanges of polyester moulds.
