For extending the processing time and potlife of cobalt-pre-accelerated polyester resins
Pergaslow BK-10 X is a 4-tert-Butylcatechol inhibitor added to cobalt-pre-accelerated polyester resins to extend the processing time. Pergaslow BK 10-X can also be used to extend the potlife of pre-accelerated polyester resins.
Application
The inhibitor must first be added to the resin for maximum effect. After mixing well, the accelerator can be added. Pergaslow BK-10 X is insoluble in water, but soluble in aromatic solvents.
