Provides good curing when combined with MEKP, AAP and CHP catalysts (from 15°C)
Cobalt accelerator is the standard accelerator added to polyester and vinyl ester resins to ensure proper curing at temperatures as low as 15°C in combination with MEKP, AAP and CHP catalysts. In Romar-Voss Composites' product range, this product is available in a 1% and 6% solution.
Application
This accelerator can be used with laminating, casting and injection resins, gelcoats and topcoats. Cobalt accelerator is insoluble in water, but soluble in various organic solvents.
