Laminating resin LG 160 (with B component) is a standard epoxy resin used for making structural fibre-reinforced products. By properly post-curing at higher temperatures, high heat resistance (HDT) and excellent mechanical properties can be achieved. Three different hardeners (B-component) are available for LG 160. These hardeners have the same mixing ratio compared to the A-component, but all provide a different processing time (varying from 15 to 180 minutes).

Application

This laminating resin can be processed by hand (hand lay-up) and can be used in combination with glass fabric, carbon fabric and aramid fabric.
