Compoflex products are breathable microporous materials designed to replace three consumables - peelply, release film and a flow medium - with a single layer. Compoflex has the following advantages:
Controlled flow properties: for laminates with high density and compactness, it is very important to have a controlled flow medium. The random microporous perforation style ensures complete impregnation of the laminate. This eliminates dry zones. Moreover, overlapping of the material is possible without compromising the quality of the laminate.
Easy release minimises resin dust: Compoflex releases easily, allowing the cured resin to remain in the mould, reducing the amount of resin dust released into the air.
Time and cost savings: Compoflex replaces peelply, release film and flow medium. Fewer consumables combined with easy release reduces costs and processing time.
Application
Compoflex can be processed with almost all types of resin (including polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy).
