Veil-based core products

A veil-based core product can be used to add thickness to the polyester product without adding much weight. This increases the stiffness of the product. Romar-Voss Composites is the distributor of veil-based core products manufacturer Spheretex.

Spheretex supplies products under the name Sphere.core, among others. Sphere.core are easily drapeable core materials, which, depending on the type, are made of a combination of glass or polyester veils with lightweight micro fillers. Sphere.core core materials are suitable for processing polyester and vinyl ester resins. These core materials should be glass mat coated at all times and can be soaked with a nap roller or spray equipment.
