TR-104 is a standard carnauba-based release wax for polyester mouldings. This release agent wax is easy to apply evenly, fast-drying and easy to polish out. TR-104 has a higher temperature resistance than the release wax TR-102 and is therefore suitable for releasing polyester mouldings where more heat is released during production.
Application
TR-104 can be used as a release agent on all moulds with hard surfaces in hand lay-up or spray-up techniques, RTM/RIM techniques and vacuum injection with polyester and epoxy resins, among others.
