Addition-curing silicone rubbers

No volatile substances are released during the curing of addition-curing silicone rubbers. Compared to a condensation-curing system, an addition-curing system has lower shrinkage and higher chemical resistance. Especially the resistance to alkaline components, such as concrete, is higher with addition-curing systems. Other features compared to condensation-curing systems are:

  • Higher temperature and chemical resistance

  • Inhibition sensitivity during curing

  • Higher price per kilogramme

  • Curing time can be accelerated by adding additional heat

Romar-Voss Composites' product range includes the following addition-curing silicone rubbers. Other types of silicone rubbers are available on request.
