Addition-curing silicone rubbers
No volatile substances are released during the curing of addition-curing silicone rubbers. Compared to a condensation-curing system, an addition-curing system has lower shrinkage and higher chemical resistance. Especially the resistance to alkaline components, such as concrete, is higher with addition-curing systems. Other features compared to condensation-curing systems are:
Higher temperature and chemical resistance
Inhibition sensitivity during curing
Higher price per kilogramme
Curing time can be accelerated by adding additional heat
