NEUKASIL RTV 1703 is a silicone rubber that provides a hardness of 20 (Shore-A) after curing and has high tear strength. To make ironing moulds of vertical products, Thixotropic agent SI-C is available, allowing the silicone rubber to be thickened as required. No release agent is normally required for releasing in silicone moulds. For complex moulds with a lot of structure, release agent spray is regularly used as a general release agent.
Application
This silicone rubber is used in mould making and is suitable for epoxy and polyurethane-based waxes and resins.
