Derakane Momentum 411 T-35 is a standard thixotropic epoxy vinyl ester resin. This vinyl ester resin is formulated from a Bisphenol A epoxy resin and is resistant to many acids, alkalis, bleaches and solvents regularly used in many chemical process applications. The resin offers good toughness and fatigue resistance. The thixotropic properties of the resin may cause reduced chemical resistance. Before using this vinyl ester resin, it is necessary to enquire whether the resin can withstand the specific medium it would be exposed to.
Application
The resin can be applied by hand lay-up and spray-up techniques.
