In this hybrid fabric, aramid fibres and glass fibres are interwoven. This combines the high impact resistance of aramid with the cost-effective glass fabric. Romar-Voss Composites' range includes the aramid/glass fabric VK 390 T as standard. This is a 390 g/m² twill weave fabric. Other versions are available on request.
Application
The best results with hybrid fabrics are achieved when processed with an epoxy resin. Aramid/glass fabrics are used when high impact resistance products are required.
