Carbon-based fabrics provide high stiffness, tensile strength and compressive strength at low weight. In addition, carbon fabrics provide slight expansion when heated and are electrically conductive. Carbon fabrics are available as standard as plain weave and twill weave fabrics on full rolls.
Application
The best results with carbon fabrics are achieved when processed with an epoxy resin.
