Peroxan CU-40 M is a cumyl hydroperoxide used for curing cobalt-pre-accelerated polyester and vinyl ester resins. Compared to a standard ME-50 LX, this catalyst does not produce any gas formation after being mixed into the vinyl ester resin. This peroxide has a low peak exotherm in thick laminates and good curing in thinner laminates.
Application
Peroxan CU-40 M is insoluble in water, but soluble in various organic solvents.
