Peroxan ME-50 LA3 X is a universal methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) for curing cobalt pre-accelerated polyester resins. Compared to ME-50 LX, this catalyst gives a longer processing time. In the polyester industry, this catalyst is also known as summer peroxide. This catalyst, unlike polyester resins in combination with vinylester resins, provides higher activity and does not foam when vinyl ester resins are processed.
Application
This catalyst is highly suitable for applications in warmer periods or seasons, or where a longer processing time is required. For example, in the production of large parts or in filament winding techniques. Peroxan ME-50 LA3 X is insoluble in water.
