Additives

To control the curing process of polyester and vinyl ester resins, additives are added. Accelerators are added to cure the resins at room temperature or to further promote a particular reaction. Catalysts, also called hardeners in the industry, are needed to cure polyester and vinyl ester resins. In addition, inhibitors are used to extend the processing time (potlife) and storage stability of the liquid resin. Romar-Voss Composites' product range includes an extensive range of catalysts, accelerators and inhibitors.

Accelerators

Additives to cure the resin at room temperature or to further promote a particular reaction.

Catalysts

Catalysts, or wrongly called hardeners, needed to cure polyester and vinyl ester resins.

Inhibitors

Additives that extend the processing time (potlife) and/or storage stability of a liquid resin.
