Sanding Gelcoat

The sanding gelcoat from Romar-Voss Composites' product range is a pre-accelerated gelcoat based on an isophthalic acid polyester resin. The addition of specific fillers allows sanding gelcoat to be easily sanded after application and curing. Sanding gelcoat is recommended for moulded parts that will be painted afterwards.

Application

This gelcoat is applied as the first layer in the mould when making laminates using the hand lay-up or spray method. In Romar-Voss Composites' product range, sanding gelcoat is available as standard in a hand version (spray version can be supplied on request). Sanding gelcoat is mainly used in bodywork (for hoods, spoilers, covers and switch boxes).

This gelcoat is available as standard in RAL 7035 (grey). Customer-specific colours can be produced on request.
