VP 9216 is a flame-resistant gelcoat based on an isophthalic acid polyester resin filled with aluminium trihydroxide (ATH). It is a high-quality, pre-accelerated gelcoat with good impact resistance and good scratch and abrasion resistance. Gelcoat VP 9216 is often used in the transport sector for building bodywork.

Application

Gelcoat VP 9216 is available in Romar-Voss Composites' range in a hand version (spray version available on request). This gelcoat is applied as the first layer in the mould when making flame-resistant laminates.

This gelcoat is available in a neutral base, but can be coloured on request. The gelcoat is available in selected RAL colours as standard. NCS, Sikkens or customer-specific colours can be produced on request.

Gelcoat VP 9216 is available as standard in a can (approx. 20 kg). The base (neutral) is coloured in the desired colour. Many selected RAL colours are available as standard. NCS, Sikkens or project-specific colours can be produced on request.
