Carbon reinforcement materials

Carbon reinforcement materials are applied in structures requiring high tensile strength and compressive strength combined with very high stiffness and low weight. The advantage of carbon is that it has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and is electrically conductive. The best results are achieved when carbon reinforcement materials are processed with epoxy resins. Romar-Voss Composites' product range includes the following carbon reinforcement materials.

Carbon fabrics

  • Available as a plain weave or twill weave fabric

  • 1K to 24K yarns

  • Available in 80 to 1200 g/m²

  • Standard 100 cm wide
